Y'all recall that I said that Test Bow no.2 would not have a riser?

Well.... I changed my mind.
it shall have a riser, of sorts.
In fact, the riser is already in layup part 3, consisting nine parts at the moment.
The belly and back bamboo are both planed and ready for full layup, later today (if I can make up my feeble mind what to use for nocks).

so far, Gorilla Glue is behaving as if it might be adequate for my needs for the real bow. I'll *know* more once Test no.2 is complete and has fired several dozen arrows (or fails during testing)

luck-wishing is, as always, welcome.

"... what to use for nocks."

I'm not too experienced with bamboo. Would it be possible to use the joint material?

It seems as though I've heard that part was difficult to "work," -- I assume because of a tough, non-grained material.
