Yep...those "relocation" colds are indeed a pain...right when you can't be sick, when you've got so much to do....
Alaska gets auroras fairly often, don't they?
I've always wanted to visit there....you MUST take pictures when you go...and share! : )
Summer is best for them because of the "dry" air, but yes, the Poles are excellent for auroras.
It will be at least a year before I can visit, but I'm already looking forward to it...she's only been there a month...:o[
