My day to cover the Saturday obligations at "work." I'll be gone in a bit. Trying to catch up on hurricane damage.
I'll be working this weekend too, just at home. I'll have to go grocery shopping in a little while. And then it's laundry day.
Don't forget to pick up those Dolly Parton DVDs for Winston.

And she was fun. The new owner destroyed her after a bad water landing. He made a water landing with the wheels down. She flipped on her back and filled with water withe the bottom of her hull being the opnly thing above water. He and his passenger were wet but unharmed. He hired some Bubba with a crane on aabarge to recover her. The idiot put two straps around the hull and lifted her out. Of course all that water tore her to shreds. Water weighs around 8 to 9 pounds per gallon. I'd say there was at least 800 gallons. Made me sick.
The kit was $23,000.00 in 1996 and included everything but gas. Took around 300 hours to assemble. I sold her in 2000 for $26,000.00 I had put about 150 hours on her.
Was mine but I sold her. I miss her
It would be easier to handle if someone else was taking good care of her.
What a sad ending.
