All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance
War! - huh- yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War! huh yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again yall
War! huh good God
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance
Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance
OK.
"Double post?!
(Quizzical Smiley.)
How the heck did that happen?"
Just lucky?
"American Splendor" had to be one of the best comedies that I've seen in the past decade.
Giamatti is brilliant!
Hey, Irish!
How are things in the Emerald Isle? Especially your part of it?
That cartoon looks familiar..?
Since I come from a family of artists, I'm always interested in "art."
I make it a point to tell people that MY idea of art may not be YOUR idea of art. And since I am outspoken...
;o]
Er...perhaps...perhaps not...who knows?
Whenever I drop by his apartment the only items I find in his refrigerator are baking soda and beer.
No, the one above it, God help me I know who Casper is!
I think he also had a half-cousin (brother?) who was part of the series.
To be honest, I wasn't a huge follower of the cartoon, so I couldn't delve into any specifics relating to thematic or character development.
Sorry.
Gee...the baking soda is there to hide the smell of the beer? NOT!
Four pages of comments filled with my postings to the UT.
That hasn't happened in quite some time.
:)
I mean the cartoon that you double posted, it looks familiar.
Gee...now I REALLY feel old...I knew Casper before he was in the movies...:o[
He's getting better.
The last place he rented was a sub-basement-read illegal-apartment that didn't even have a bedroom.
This one has a terrace, which will come in handy if he ever decides to invite any of those anti-smoking zealots over for dinner.
:))
Gee...I hate those semi-quasi-pseudo legal apartments with the greasy sleazy landlords...
Tell him NEVER to put anything in front of the terrace doors! (Is it on the second floor?)
Thanks for that, BTW we are all DOOMED (at least according to Weekly World News):
