All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

War! - huh- yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War! – huh – yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y’all
War! – huh – good God
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me…

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

"Wonder how many trolls dread us taking over their threads?"

You're assuming they are still alive. I believe, with our mega-pavers, the question of life after trollhood is already answered. ;o]

"e-tards" - n. online leftists. syn: Kos' Kids, DUmmies

Darks - fire up the Lexicon Pinglist - IT just coughed up a keeper.

you nursed the pinion that 'pelled the steel, as it were.
you sparked the notion.
It does not replace your "eetards"
It merely adds to the FR dictionary.

Where the heck is he, anyway?

He's here. After a miserable week+...

Lessee.... Flew to Boston Sunday, meetings began 8 AM (5 AM PDT) Monday. My turn to be secretary.

Monday night: laptop Dies. Hard. Really hard. Beyond "pining for the fjords" dead.

Tuesday: Call office, request new laptop (and old backup CDs from office) overnight. Call wife, request thick CD wallet with latest backup CDs overnight (some backups 3 weeks old).

Wednesday AM: Technical working sessions; rely on partner's laptop for interaction with equipment. Laptop and wallet arrive.

Wednesday noon: Laptop runs, begin installing necessary tools. Oops -- wrong CD wallet was sent; I now have a bunch of leadership lectures on audio CD instead of latest backups.

Wed & Thu: Much intense work, energy only for dinner before crashing.

Fri: Wind down PM. Learn Ophelia might be coming in and I might not be able to leave Saturday. Jealous of those leaving early to return home Friday night, while I stick around to the bitter end. Return to hotel, get dinner, buy overpriced Internet access to catch up with e-mail and critical Internet issues -- not including FR. (The company would pay much more, but my Scottish blood rebels. I'm not cheap, just frugal.)

Sat AM: Get up "late", check on flight... no anticipated delays! Ophelia went East!! Final packing, meander on down to airport. Check in at 9 AM for 11:30 flight: "Do you want to take the 9:30 flight?", says the agent.

Rule #3: If you can take an earlier flight, always do so! You never know what might happen in the interim. Better a 3-hour layover at the midpoint than a 2 hour wait for the first flight... which might not go on time.

Then the agent tells me how everything went to pieces, VERY long delays, yesterday afternoon.

My guess: My early-departing colleagues had to endure a whole bunch of missed connections, over-full planes, and some didn't get home on time. I had leisurely "spacious" (there was at least one empty seat) flights, and got home a wee bit ahead of schedule.

Though I lost yet another Saturday to travel. Corporate does not grant "comp time."

I'm home through this coming Saturday. After that I do not know if I will have connection before the following Friday evening.

I seem to have misplaced that ping list.
So I'll just call up the regular list...

Gang, a new term has been created here in the Undead Thread, this time NOT through one of my typos!

I like it, but do we need the hyphen? Why not etards? (Or does that mean something in French?)
