All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

War! - huh- yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War! – huh – yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y’all
War! – huh – good God
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me…

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Very well put! My point on my particular preference of trolls is that some FReepers actually want trolls to put up a reasonable argument - that cannot be possible because intelligent people come here with varying opinions - I say no - the ideal troll is the troll with a total and complete lack of comprehension of reality - trolls are funnier that way!!!

today's the first day I can remember in a LONG while where I actually had *energy*
It didn't last too long, but DAMN it felt good.

truth!

I'm also about to do a glue and bend trial with some extra bamboo, prefatory to doing the full layup of the real longbow.

I wonder how tall my two eldest nephews are...
Might as well shoot for making an operational light draw-weight bow for their use

thanks - I'll need it.

I have already discovered that "gorilla glue" will not work: it dries too stiff and does not adhere strongly enough to the bamboo.

I have found a differend adhesive: "Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200"
it has a 48-hour "working" time, and a cure time of SEVEN DAYS.

If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'm gonna do for the glue.

Hmmm...

I'm not much of a glue expert. I use Elmer's school glue and glue sticks. I do have epoxy if I break something. LOL!

2-part Epoxy was recommended by the American expert on this topic, but I have thus far been unable to find a brand with a slow enough cure time...

AND, due to the computer problems 2months ago, I have lost that expert's contact data.

it took me 3 years to find him, last time.
