Yes....and then, for me, after I've done it once...if I don't take notes on what I did...I forget how to do it all over again if needed....it's kinda confusing for me to just remember...and then I'm real good at losing my notes, lol!

That's exactly why I have had a notebook with me, at my desk, since Day One. I'm now on Notebook #2, but #1 is just beneath it.
I went to school for this stuff, so I remember some of it, but from the time I graduated to the time I got my first PC, the state of the art had morphed into something that was almost unrecognizable to me.
Even the mandatory classes the County paid for on a yearly basis were not enough to prepare me for the new stuff...

I know exactly what you mean....remember when it was just DOS? how things have changed....and even looking back to just a few years ago....now, you can't buy the 3 1/2" floppies standard with new computers....they're extra (that's what my boss and I were told when we went to Staples to buy me a new computer after my died).
My hair seems to be changing a lot. Can you believe that It's now completely touching my shoulders in this short time since it's been chopped off?
I'll be able to go back to the long-haired dolls sooner than I thought. LOL!

I used to know DOS like the back of my hand. And I now have to go to Kinkos to get the files on my floppys transferred to CD's.
My son has my old hard drive, with the A: drive on it, and he needs some of the files I have. But I can't send them to him until I get them copied. *sigh*
