ITS OUR COUNTRY SHUT UP MEXICO!!!!!!!
Mexico said the declarations "don't jibe with the spirit of cooperation and understanding" and ordered its consul in Albuquerque to meet with New Mexico officials "to promote appropriate actions by the officials of both countries."
Mexico is upset again.
Vincente you just don't get it do ya? Keep your peons on your side of the border!!! It is our right if not a privilage to keep them out. Take care of them yourself. The American tax-payer is tired of doing it.
Note that Richardson is a Democrat and a Hispanic. Word is that he would love to be vice president. Therefore, it is significant that he would favor increased border security. It suggests that he considers it a winning position to take.
"It suggests that he considers it a winning position to take."
Smart man regardless of his reasons.
When a Hispanic Governor who may eventually run for president takes action that my alienate him from the Hispanic electorate, you know the problem has to be extremely bad.
As if $1.7 million spread so thin will amount to anything. Those dollars he's got earmarked for a razor wire fence to protect cattle due for the slaughter house would be better used as a fence at the border to protect US citizens. Richardson is piling on what's found on the ground at that stockyard to get his name in the paper. Remember he's the RAT who provided sanctuary for the Texas Senate RATS who ran crying from their duties last year and wasted millions of tax dollars.
"takes action that may alienate him from the Hispanic electorate"
I'm thinking that what the dems have figured out is that the majority of the legal Hispanic electorate is on the side of entering this country in a legal fashion. They ,too, are probably fed up with paying for the problems that come with the millions of ILLEGALS.
Pick them up and deport them to Vicente's personal residence, then we'll see how much "spirit of cooperation and understanding" he has.
Dear Dubya: Put Fox in a box, pile on rocks.
Just wait until some federal, activist judge in New Mexico gets his paws on this case.
But, since it is Richardson involved, I'm sure the master plan showing the gaps in the proposed line is for sale.
"When a Hispanic Governor who may eventually run for president takes action that my alienate him from the Hispanic electorate, you know the problem has to be extremely bad."
Auditioning for a spot on the HRC '08 ticket.
If Hillary is smart enough to run on a border-security platform (and perhaps promise to put troops on the Mexican border) while also putting a Latino in the VP slot to soften her image and retain the Latino vote, then we are going to have a major problem on our hands.
The globalist one worlders masquerading as conservatives have nothing to worry about because bayouboy has volunteered to play sapper on this new fence, or so I hear.
Unfortunately Bush doesn't get it either.
Also saw this in WSJ on Drudge about what Hellary the lying witch really thinks about border and illegals.
Hellary and Richardson say one thing and do another
Birds [vultures] of a feather flocking together?
The thing is that it won't. The hispanics I know are livid about lax border security, and they might just vote for Richardson if it looks like he's at least acknowledging that there's a problem (and meeting with the Minutemen rather than calling them "vigilantes). Meanwhile, the "La Raza" types won't be able to resist voting for an hispanic candidate just because he's hispanic. For me, the cons of voting for Richardson very much outweigh the pros, though. He's still a liberal that shills for the Clintons.
