I think Ellen is funny. At least she doesn't push her politics in her stand-up.

I thought her show was very funny UNTIL it became the Ellen Lesbian show. If she had stuck with the original instead of pulling her lifestyle into it, I think it would have lasted.

She's got good stand-up chops, but her material is really weak. Very narrow and trite. Used to be much better before she tattooed "LESBIAN" on her forehead.

I think Ellen is funny. At least she doesn't push her politics in her stand-up. She's also been good to the troops and their families. She's OK in my book.

Nor does she push her sexuality. She is a funny person, that doesn't change the fact that it will be a gathering of blithering idiots though. The main reason not to watch.

Agreed, her new show is so funny she'll make the awards interesting.

Me too, I think she's funny. Didn't care for the politics on her tv sitcom, but I hear her stand up stuff on XM radio, and it is still funny. Don't care for her lifestyle, but who asked me.
