what do you mean they teach our children? Oh no, what do we do now? Guess I'll teach them at home.

You could sit most 4-year-olds down with a power drill, an electrical outlet and a metal fork - and they'd be safer and learn more than in the hands of the NEA.

Let's boycott the teachers by going on strike. Let's pass a law that says they only get paid when the children are in school and on a per capita basis. No kids, no pay. Then let's see how fast they change their tune....

If teachers would use their energy TEACHING students in the CLASSROOM, maybe those kids would have something in between their ears besides MUSH. Teachers unions are one of the worst nightmares we have to wake up to! I am one of the lucky ones. I went to a PRIVATE SCHOOL and there wasn't a union in sight.

If you'll excuse me, I have to put my Walmart list together.

I find LOTS of stuff NOT Made in China there....

They're one of the biggest retailers for "made in Hawaii" products in the islands. And since they're being sold now in places besides tourist traps, sales have taken off among locals, meaning more and more "Hawaii" products are being produced. The variety now is huge compared to just a few years ago.

Oh, and every one of their goods, including the candy bars, toothpaste, etc. are made in China.

I've seen made-in-China toothpaste and dental floss.
