You notice how our enemies use our own decency to shackel us and deman we follow our humane laws as they slit the throats of our children?
I think it is time that we make an anouncement that we are leaving the stated sets of rules we follow to take care of a disease that has infected our world. We will return to our original programing as soon as possible.
Such a change in the rules of engagement would happen only after suffering far more damage than we have already, I'm afraid. The sheeple will remain asleep until then, ignoring our enemy's stated words and, as VDH mentioned, imparting our own motives for their hatred.
Scratch out the word Jew and put in the word white and you'd have a good description of what's openly and proudly preached from every major university, every major publishing house, every Hollywood studio, every television network and from the U.S. government. And unlike what's preached by Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris, this hate is having a palpable effect in reaching its goal as headlines of the last few days have shown. You'll wait in vain for Davis to attack this jihad with even a portion of the enthusiasm he shows for the efforts in the Middle East because unlike attacking militant Islam attacking the internal jihad has direct consequences for his career (he'd be fired by NR, for starters). There is no clash of civilizations only an internal civil war in the West which Hanson and company are not merely losing but are being obliterated. His over-the-top enthusiasm for adventures in the Middle East is in inverse proportion to his impotence at home.

The ONLY thing Islam and Muslims are TRUTHFUL about is their hatred of the Jews and all infidels. They are brutally HONEST about this- yet the world REFUSES to believe.
The LIES they come up with, however, are lapped up- because they aren't as frightening. They console.
If we actually believed when they speak the truth about their ultimate goal, we would have to do something; and it would be ugly.

It's difficult to get the screaming out here on the internet, but I'm right there with you. They could not be clearer in their intentions. You have to be completely committed to ignorance not to hear or see it.

He doesn't actually tell us what "Al Qaeda Really Wants." He merely passes on some rather unsurprising quotes from guys whom everybody already knows a) wants to kill us; and b) want to recruit Muslims to their cause.
The inclusion of the Palestinian cleric's anti-Jew rant doesn't even belong in the litany: he's fighting a different war (or, at the very least, fighting in a whole 'nother theatre) than bin Laden is.
And thus it makes little sense for Hanson to end up with this: Yet there is one and only one legitimate objection of the crackpot radical Islamists that rings true: We in the West don’t listen to them when they promise us our deaths. We should. They are yelling as loud as they can to tell us something that we don’t really want to hear.
Hanson surely knows that we (the U.S.) are listening hard enough to have committed large military forces to the fight against al Qaeda.

The US should have stayed in Saudi Arabia, big time, instead of getting out. All we got for our appeasement of the Saudi's was higher oil prices and more Al Qaeda funding. This move was a Bush43 as Neville Chamberlain, to be sure.
