"So. . .are there no muslims with a "hindu" name?

Are there no non-muslims with a muslim names?"

Muslims keep their names from the Koran, Hindus dont.
Hindus have (mostly)Sanskrit names. The Muslims never keep a Sanskrit name. For a Muslim, to keep a Hindu name instead of a Koranic name is akin to sacrilege.

In India most of the times you can easily figure out the religion or the eihnic community a person belongs to, just from the name. Most surnames in India are typical of a certain geographic region within India. And in case of Muslims, there names are almost always ......Arabic or Persian (both name and surname). And in India, only the Muslims keep Arabic names. You can always tell a Muslim from the name.

So you can be 100% certain "Yashen Maharaj" isnt a Muslim.

I think if I were Hindu in the UK I would consider having my name embroidered on a baseball cap and wear it in public, along with a Union Jack patch perhaps? Anything to make sure I wasn't mistaken for a Muslim.

Perhaps a moon and star patch with the circle slash through it? No Islam.
