It is interesting that Marx, Lenin and Hitler all spelled out pretty exactly what their intentions were long before they came to power, but sophisticated intellectuals refused to take their rhetoric at face value.

Indeed, the latest two-hour training video is little more than cut-and-paste from the Michael Moore Left and hand-me-downs from Euro anti-globalist radicals. Thus America, al Qaeda assures us, seeks to ravage the entire globe for the interest
of corporate companies, and so kills the sons of Islam in Palestine, Afghanistan, the Balkans, Indonesia, the Caucuses, and elsewhere. Which explains the Michael Moore Left's unthinking support for the enemy. If Al Qaeda were quoting Thomas Jefferson and Adam Smith, demanding free markets, and insisting on the FairTax throughout the Arab world, they would probably have quite a few supporters on FR, regardless of their methods.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" seems to be a tough concept to set aside. Al Qaeda is no one's friend, but the Michael Moore Left won't get that message until a significant number of their own become victims.

A significant number of their own did become victims on 9/11 and it didn't make any difference to them.

By "their own" I mean leading figures, like Moore himself. If Al Qaeda ever hits a Hollywood awards show, watch how fast they change their tune.

Daniel Pipes usefully estimates that at least 10% of the world's 1.2 billion muslims are Islamofascists, which means about 120,000,000 muslims want to kill you or die trying.

Don't be so sure. Remember Danny Berg who was beheaded on the Intenet. His father, an old line communist, promptly blamed Bush.

99% of muslims can support killing women and children and the media will do 1 of 2 things (guaranteed):
1)They will say this is out side the mainstream of the peaceful religion of islam,
or
2) They will justify the atrocities because of supposed past injustices done to the Arabs.
Too bad they don't act this way with folks like the Randolph fellow that did the abortion clinic bombing. Even the most extreme in the Christian faith condemn what he did, yet the media portrays him as a typical Christian, and the left uses it to justify their campaign of hate against Christianity.

They despise Americans for who we are. Which is exactly why they have the support of the Left, since they also despise American's for who we are. (VDH should do a similar analysis of H-wood media messages; listen to what they're really saying.)
Bush's biggest weakness was in failing to implement true war measures. In some ways, our greatest threat is not low-tech camel jocks, but smart Chinese that utilize the same strategy of dividing America. No stupid, brute force war for them like the Nazis/Japanese; oh no, first you gain the support of the Left by playing the victim of US imperialism, racism, mercantilism, exploitation, colonialism, etc.
