What NARAL Pro-Choice America is up to remains unclear, but we who defend a right to abortion wish it would go away. The group has created an uproar by running an ad that links U.S. Supreme Court nominee John Roberts to the criminal who bombed a clinic in Birmingham, Ala.

A mere 17 percent of those polled by ABC News/Washington Post say that abortion should be illegal under all circumstances. That doesn't mean the remaining 83 percent of Americans want no restrictions placed on abortion. Most do, and they should. But the fact remains that a clear majority supports the basic right.
That's an awful long stretch to say that those that don't agree with a total ban "support the basic right".
Neocommunist, anti-American interests have given millions to help destroy American and what they don't steal, they spend on campaigns like this. But, there are only 100 Senators between W's nomination and Roberts on the bench and the odds of these dumb ads influencing those dumb Senators seems remote.
Not a big believer in emanating penumbras, I'm still waiting for someone to show me where this 'right' exists.
Can you point to a national poll that counters her claim.
You won't find one. Most Republicans favor choice with restrictions...Pubbie women as well.
The difference is that Republicans don't celebrate abortion as a glorious act of female independence and liberation.
They said the same thing about the fags. Maybe the entire left wing agenda is our secret weapon.

Thanks for the tip.
The new slang for infant torture (to the death) is "NARAL rights"! ("Abortion rights" is soooo 1990's!)
Being from Bham, I have been sick to death of hearing the "heroics" of Emily Lyons these past several years. Not condoning Rudolph's actions in any way, but what she was doing had only been "ruled" legal for the past 25 years by SCOTUS. Remember, abortion FORMERLY was illegal and has been spinned in recent years to be a woman's "CHOICE".
Most recently I was in a book store that was advertising Ms. Lyon's book signing. I felt ill that she should profit over the publicity. If any good came out of the NARAL ad it was exposing her for what many have always thought her to be.
The weasel words in the author's statement is "support the basic right"--what does that mean? Does that mean that 83% of us support using abortion as birth control? Unlimited abortions as long as you do it in the first trimester? No parental consent for underage girls?
