LITTLE ROCK, Ark. A group that hoped to build two museums to rebut the displays at the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas -- is folding.
Houston businessman Richard Erickson says he's giving up efforts to build Counter Clinton Libraries in Little Rock, Arkansas, and in Washington.
Erickson says he's very passionate about his idea, but ended up being very naive as far as fund-raising and doesn't have enough money to continue.
He said the Counter Clinton Library's Web site would be shut down soon.
Erickson said that he can't ask private citizens to donate money they think is going to build the library when the funds really end up paying for administrative and legal expenses.
___
On the Net:
Counter Clinton Library: http://www.counterclintonlibrary.com
Clinton Presidential Library: http://www.clintonfoundation.org
This should be done online as a virtual library. Scholarly work, legal records and media stories could all be archived for all to access and use. Alamo Girl led the way and this effort could expand and improve indefinitely. Well, at least until the entire krinton krime klan is in the ground.
He should have started a "stained blue dress" shop outside the real "Klintoon liebarie".
That's where they sell disposable blue jumpers with a (little, hehehe) white stain on them.
You buy 'em, wear 'em over your clothes into the liebarie, and get arrested by Arkansas State Troopers when your exit.
A bit ambitious considering the resources (contributions to) of WJC. That is a big hurdle to jump.
so...was any money donated before the shutdown ?
If so, how was it used ?
The disposable dress shop or the counter Klintoon liebarie?
Hey, I could live in the back half of the trailer home and sell disposable stained blue jumpers out the front door.
It would be perfect! Tons of Republican wamans visiting all the time!
Uhm, lemme think... Big yeller dog out front, an overturned broken fridge, maybe a ranchero up on blocks...
Everybody had it wrong about the Clinton legacy.
It was the LEG-ASS-SEE that Clinton was concerned about.
realllllly sad.
I wish something effective could be done.
So, Carter_Hall, what is your measure of this article?
