Timing. Consider her protest, the 180-degree switch on President Bush, sounding identical to Michael Moore, etc., and what do you see? The information that has come out about how Clinton's administration dropped the ball on terrorism is a bombshell, so they get us with manufactured lower war support and a "sympathetic" mother and the left obfuscates the entire issue. Amazing how these events happened near the same time, isn't it?

There's no such thing as coincidence. Then again, I could be high.

If I was this mom's son, I would have tried to enlist at age 12.

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Glad to see you feeling better.

However, this one is a bit too cute to be conspiracy.

You never know when a nut will fall from the tree, and this one just happened to coincide with the granting of enough left-wing cash to fund her sitting in the mud in Crawford for awhile.

What amazes me, is that these folks never seem to learn from Bush that he does not back down or give in. I'm sure her 'handlers' convinced her that she was going to be standing next to Bush in just a few hours of mud-sittin'.

Now she's getting rained on, and the exposure has allowed us to point out to the world that she's a nutjob, whose husband AND son ran away from her.

NBC just did an in-depth stroy on this woman; filled with facts...

Except for the fact part

Totally ignored her Leftist past

Totally ignored the statements by her family

Totally ignored her flip-flops (who does that remind us of?) regarding her meeting with President Bush

Total left slime piece

They just don't get it...

This is also one more crystal clear illustration of how low the progressive-leftists will go. Any lower and they (including their minions in the USA) will be resorting to arms ...

Hardly. The only thing that keeps them viable is restricting themselves to 'zero-attrition' tactics.

They aren't stupid.

By all accounts, Benedict Arnold had legitimate grievances too. Until we recognize treason, regardless of its motivation, they will operate with impunity.

I salute Spc Casey Sheehan, a volunteer member of the the US Army. He is an American hero who matured far beyond his childhood leftist surroundings.

I find Cindy Sheehan just plan embarrassing, certainly her immediate family does. Does she think she is the only person to lose a son, daughter, or spouse in Iraq or any other war? I heard that John Kerry is climbing on this Soros band wagon also, anyone else hear that?

Her silly crusade is going to back fire if it hasn't already. This is a woman who is getting her 15 minutes of fame at the expense of her brave son's death doing what soldiers do and dieing for it. Trying to make our President feel guilty and look bad is a put up job by the Socialists and the U.S. Communist party and of course Moore and Soros people along with a selfish and ridiculous woman who is allowing to let her family's name and that of her son be dragged through the liberal mud. Get a life Cindy!

TRANSCRIPT from me of the first part of their collusion conference call...It's too sick, I can't do the full conf call!!

JT First of all thank you all for showing up on today’s call, this is a real important blog call uh, uh, for you all to come for to give Cindy to uh, give you an update and uh let you know what actions can be taken to help uh, it’s really important’
I want to make two things clear, one is the reason the call’s being recorded is so that it, we can pod cast it and put it up as MP3 lateron that’s the reason the operator informed you of that… the second thing is at the end of Cindy’s talk is that we’ll open up the lines for Q&A so right now it’s in listen only so we don’t have any cross talk while she’s taking and if you can all like release the lines for Q&A if every, who is not asking a question mute your phones and un mute it to ask the question so again we don’t have that crosstalk problem.

I’m happy uh, er uh, to be co-hosting the call, Joe Trippi from Joertippi.com, with bob fertig of, uh Demokrats.com and Jody Evans of Code Pink. With that I’ll turn it over to Bob,

BOB—I’m here as co-founder of afterdowningstreet.org (JT “h I’m sorry) and we built a new site for Cindy last week at meetwithcindy.org. We’re overwhelmed with traffic but we’re blooging there on the tremendous work that shes doing and the help shes getting from people all over the country and the tremendous effort from allies like code poing and milfams speak out and veterans for peace that are working with her and this is uh, Cindy is making history and she’s also leading a movement, she’s up against the adversity of the weather and some hostile forces in the media, I’m sure you’ve all read about that, I’m sure you’ve see her answers to those questions and we can get into that more in detail.

Now let me just introduce Cindy. We worked with Cindy last, in uh last June when she testified in Congress at John Conyer’s hearings on the after, Downing Street minutes when she was forced into a basement room, but uh, Cindy’s been carrying on this crusade for a year now, this is nothing new for Cindy, she’s finally being heard.

Cindy Shaheen: Hi everybody, thankyou so much for everything everybody’s doing. I am so overwhelmed and amazed at the support this is getting, and all of the um, I really think it’s a miracle, I think it was very serendipidous that I had this idea and (Garbled) and you know what I attribute it to I attribute it to the internet and the blogosphere as they? got everything out. You know Saturday night when I put it, when we put it out that the Secret Service was trying to intimidate us into leaving, it went all over the blogoshper and the internet and I just wanted everybody to know that if something happened to us it would have probably been the secret service and and so and they knew that, you know, they watch the blogs and the stuff too. So this is something that can’t be ignored and they can’t ignore us and they can’t put us down and um, like I said this is truly amazing and thank God for the internet or we wouldn’t know anyting and we would already be a Fascist state. And you know, our government is run by one party, every level and the main stream media is uh propaganda tool for the government and we didn’t have the internet, none of us whould really know what was truly going on and I have, I have said since my son died and the elections, you know the elections Quote-Unquote that happened in November that it’s we’re the people that
Have to cause the change. I never got involved berfoe Casey was killed because I ddin’t think that one person could make a difference but one person can’t make a difference but one person with millions of people behind her can make a difference. And really from the bottom of my heart, and deeper than that, I thank all of you.

I wonder if this is her way of dealing with guilt. We all have guilt about loved ones when they die. And a young son would have to rank high with such feelings...esp. if she opposed what he believed in and his dedication to the military and war. So now she avenges his death, takes on Pres. Bush and assigns blame. All the while she blames herself. I feel sad for her, it's hard not to with such a loss. All the parents and spouses, families, who have lost someone in this anti-terror effort sure deserve our respect and appreciation. But her words are not going to benefit a single soldier, living or gone. And her true hypocricy will probably become more apparent with time.

This is just the newest anti-Bush story with the Karl Rove one now off the radar. It and she will be gone soon from the media.

Cindy McSheen is to Code Pink as Katie Homes is to Scientology. Both Cindy and Katie appear to be shallow thinkers, childish, with a strong need for attention and approval.

In light of the 9/11 commission scandal this ginned up Sheehan protest is irrelevant.

With the rest of the family calling on this woman to stop this looney behavior, it is obvious this "protest" was no protest but a story intended to take advantage of the slow august news month.

She is a fake, the story is a fake, and the MSM is caught participating in the fakery again.

Well, at least we know it isn't genetic! Her family seems to be a considerate, patriotic respectful in their grief, unlike Cindy.

She is just a useful idiot to the Moveon.org types, to be cast aside after her usefulness has passed.

Very revelatory article.(!) Thanks for posting it!

From tonight's Drudge Report (8/11/05):

FAMILY OF FALLEN SOLDIER PLEADS: PLEASE STOP, CINDY!
Thu Aug 11 2005 12:56:21 ET

The family of American soldier Casey Sheehan, who was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004, has broken its silence and spoken out against his mother Cindy Sheehan's anti-war vigil against George Bush held outside the president's Crawford, Texas ranch.

The following email was received by the DRUDGE REPORT from Casey's aunt and godmother:

Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish.

Thanks, Cherie

In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
