Does she tow the line or toe the line? There is a difference.

Michael Berg used his son's death to rail against Bush as well. Lib media gave him at least as much press time as Mrs. Sheehan

Are we sure this woman isn't a stalker?

At the very least she needs attention and she's found perfect foils in the MSM.

The Oprahization of our women of a certain age and educational level has hurt Republicans more than we typically think about.

And it was women that got Clinton elected. Twice.

they use these hapless saps as “human shields.”

Exactly right, making the MSM even more reprehensible and suspect in reporting of the 'news.'

As I sit here and listen to this all with Cindy S. about her son. Yes, we all grieve for her. However, all the people pushing her into this game, turn the loss of a son into political harassment. Have no feelings for the other sons and daughters lost and are the people that have turned against all our troops. When they do not support our troops and other people in this world to have the freedoms and support that we do. Then I see them as the ones that have turned there backs on this country. For they hide behind words rather than stand up and believe in the truth. All people are equal and have the rights we have. Now to sum it all up, We, and in support of our President and all our troops (THAT IS ALL), not just her son. Have to stop and think…..What makes her son special….There are many more lost before and there will be more in the future.. My heart goes out to all the lost and their families…But they are the ones out there placing their lives in danger to give us our freedoms. And give more people the same opportunities. If its wrong then let us starts taking away the freedoms that we have… Starting with the ones that feel that her sons lost is OVER AND ABOVE all the other families that have host loved ones..

From tonight's Drudge Report (8/11/05):

FAMILY OF FALLEN SOLDIER PLEADS: PLEASE STOP, CINDY!
Thu Aug 11 2005 12:56:21 ET

The family of American soldier Casey Sheehan, who was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004, has broken its silence and spoken out against his mother Cindy Sheehan's anti-war vigil against George Bush held outside the president's Crawford, Texas ranch.

The following email was received by the DRUDGE REPORT from Casey's aunt and godmother:

Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish.

Thanks, Cherie

In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Developing...
