Seems to me they could have executed the search warrant as he got out of work, or made his way to the grocery store, or any number of things. And, even having a CCW permit, I would assume even a routine traffic stop would have been safer and more effective for the officers involved.

He wasn't served anything. They kicked in his door a 6:15 AM.
Of course, that doesn't matter to you WoDdies. The more blood the better right?

Well we know the police lied about serving the warrant, so how do you expect us to believe them about the gun?
Neighbors who said they were up at 6:15 a.m. when the raid occurred said they heard the crash of the front door being smashed, but no yelling announcing the presence of police...A typical no knock forced entry by armed men wearing ski masks.
According to the police, the man was in the living room when they entered and they identified themselves as police. He then jumped up, ran to the bedroom and grabbed a gun. Here's a guy who works two jobs to support his mom, attends church and has never been in trouble with the law. This does not sound like the type of guy who would shoot it out with a swat team over two ounces of pot.
Looks more like a murder to me.

"That man was shot for grabbing a gun." You keep saying that like you were there. I like how you say "served a search warrant" as if they brought him a sandwich and some tea. The f-ed up the whole thing when a swat team let things get so out of control they have to shoot someone in their own home.
How about parking in front of the house and saying "come out with your hands up?" Would that be so hard to control? At worst the guy takes some potshots at the cops. ITS AT THAT POINT that the cops are then justified in blasting him or using shock grenades. The guy is dead, have some sympathy.

I hope someone rats you out as a drug dealer, as a joke, so we can read what you do when the nock comes at 6:15.
Cops aren't getting killed by people high on marijuana, its the coke and meth and DUI people doing the killing.
