The gestapo had the law behind them, too.

Is that what you really think this is? Do you really think there is ~ANY~ reasonable comparison between this great country and Nazi government?

The man was a felon, like it or not, and he reached for a gun when raided by the police. Most people call that suicidal, not heroic.

To a libertarian, dying for your stash is the ultimate of heroics. It's a lot like how al qaeda thinks of their martyrs.

We are getting there by inches. Even the Weimar Republic didn't die over night. Is that a good thing in your book? That we "aren't quit there yet so things are peachy"?

No, we aren't nazi's, yet. Ayn Rand was right, though. Everybody is now guilty of something. There are bs laws on the books which people disregard, continually. If you pick and choose the laws you follow, just what good is the law?

The more laws there are the less law there is. What laws do you disregard?

Man was not a felon. He had been convicted of nothing. Innocent until proved guilty still holds, and yes there is a lot of comparison between the way some of our police departments act and Nazi Germany. Ruby Ridge springs to mind and Waco, both were actions of a government out of control.

No knock warrants are also actions of a government that has lost sight of our Constitution and the rights of Americans every where. To repeat, this man WAS NOT a felon, he did not deserve to get shot over a bag of dried weeds. If you think so you had better go back to school and study the constitution again.
