There is also the mitigating effect of inter-racial marriage...lot's o hot, smart, latinas in Texas. I have a lot of friends married to Mexican American girls.
No need for "whitey" to be scared, I think...after all...this country does many things better than all the others on this planet..."Assimilate" when it comes to jumbling up culutres the US is the "Borg". IMHO.
Press should do a better job positively communicating diverstiy within this country...rather than creating a divide and/or victims.
true, but the ones worth marrying don't generally call themselves Mexican Americans. i would never put another country's name before ours.
