Doesn't "Able Danger" sound sort of silly? Sounds like a Maxwell Smart operative.

Traditionally, code names of US military operations are composed of words which are not necessarily associated with one another, and which in no way reveal the purpose of the operation. Hence "Overlord", "Fortitude" and "Neptune" for the Normandy operation and the associated deceptions. Very often the code names sound meaningless or even silly. Unfortunately, in recent years the trend has been to curry favor with the press and general public by devising "meaningful" operational code words: "Operation Just Cause", "Operation Desert Storm", "Operation Iraqi Freedom". The danger is that if/when these names are inadvertently compromised, the entire operation may be compromised.
