What are your feelings about what happened in Somalia?

Didn't Clinton bail out shortly after the blackhawk was shot down? And isn't there some speculation that Clinton's weak-kneed response emboldened Osama to plan and carry out 9-11?

Clinton was a disgrace in Somalia.

after the incident, he got on TV to supposedly tell the American public "what we were doing there" He avoided it 100% and gave some shpiel about fighting poverty etc... His speech was on a PBS special about Somalia.

Somalia was the #1 factor that emblazoned bin-laden. he was next door in the Sudan at the time keeping his eyes on the cookie jar. This was only 2 years after the infidels were on Saudi soil.

I vaguely remember a briefing one night by my squad-leader saying that "the sammy's were getting outside assistance from people in Sudan" I may be a little off--but I definitely remember being told about non-somali's helping out the somali's against the American's.

A lot more than speculation, the FIRST World Trade Center attack occurred on Clinton's watch, things were treated as criminal acts, even though Al Quaida had openly and verbaly declared WAR ON US!
