It links over to Newsday so here is an excerpt:
CRAWFORD, Texas For more than a year, a modest bungalow known as "Peace House," located a few miles from President Bush's ranch, has served as a headquarters for antiwar activists. It is lonely work, with little more than a skeleton crew on hand much of the time.
But then Cindy Sheehan hit town.
The 48-year-old mother of Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, who was killed in an ambush in Baghdad last year, is consumed by the kind of grief that turns into a furious determination to do something in her case, to confront the president and force him to explain why her son died.
Now, in the space of just a few days, what started out as a seemingly quixotic personal mission has become something of a phenomenon with media swarming around Sheehan, leading liberal and antiwar activists parachuting in to try to make her their long-sought voice, and political experts in both parties working to assess what role she may have in galvanizing the public's gathering unhappiness with the increasing American casualties in Iraq.
Antiwar leaders hope that putting the spotlight on Sheehan will motivate Americans who oppose the war, creating a political force strong enough to compel the Bush administration to change course.

I've seen at least four new signups today........they really are in a fevered pitch for some reason! And they're being obvious so what's the point? Some of their statements are REALLY off the wall.

Doubts about what? It was read on the air this morning.Read on what "air"?
And Dan Rather aired Bush's NG documents. They were still fake.

I think anyone who has a son or daughter lost in battle and who allies his or herself with those advocating the death of those same U.S. troops overseas loses whatever sympathy would be due, and has either lost their minds or is easily manipulated, or, as probably is the case here.

I'm beginning to think some DU-er has written an FR sign-up bot. They still haven't gotten over the hack in 2002 (All your Senate are Belong To Us!) . Those were the days.
Anyway, it wouldn't be so obvious if they'd spread it out a little...

I'm beginning to think some DU-er has written an FR sign-up bot. The word about Sheehans flip flop and who is backing her is out there because of FR. Cornered dogs bite. ;)

Anyone who aides terrorists in Iraq is a traitor in my book. Anti-war activists are providing emotional support to terrorists. Sheehan too.
While I agree anyone who gives aid to terrorists is a traitor, I don't count her actions as "emotional support" worthy or her being called a traitor. Also, you should be able to stand up and say you are against the war without being called a traitor. In case you are wondering my stance, I'm not a "moonbat" but closer to the Bircher-Bucannon model. I believe we were right to go into Iraq, remove Saddam and assure there were no WMDs. Now these tasks are done. We have sent a message to Iraq and the world that if we feel threatened, we can come and take over yours country. I don't think we should still be there though (maybe you think I'm a traitor?). We are now there "to bring democracy to the Iraqi people"? I'm sorry, bringing democracy to the Iraqi people is not worth one American life or dollar. Also, Monday is the "deadline" to have a Constitution in place but it ain't going to happen. While our troops die, Iraqi politicians are bickering and arguing on our nickle and our soldiers lives.

We are at WAR, and this b*tch is giving aid and comfort to our enemy. Spin it any way you wish. The fact that her words have reached newspapers in Baghdad, certainly provides feedback that terrorist's attempts to divide the American public (and turn Americans against the WOT in a Vietnam type move) PROVE that she is a TRAITOR!

You never answered my
post. Since Code Pink is with her in Crawford, she has aligned HERSELF with traitors. If you lay down with dogs you get up with fleas..... You can't defend that.

I agree. I understand the grief a mom may express with a broken heart and a confused mind but that does not make her right and she is endangering the lives of all those other mom's sons and daughters in Iraq.
The liberal media will use her and then spit her out when she no longer serves their purposes.
This is the same enemy we had during the Vietnam war and must not let them succeed again. We have a long ways to go yet and years [decades] of a hard road to wage to correct the last 35 years of neglect that has put us in danger.
To: DJ MacWoW
I don't care if Cindy was standing with Michael Moore on one side and George Soros on the other. She should be able to say she is against the war without being called a traitor.

Now that the letter is at the top of Drudge with a HUGE headline it will get attention and its veracity will be determined.

If you don't want to smell like a troll, check on some facts about Code Pink before making such statements. You might want to check out Soros a little more thoughly too.
