I wouldn't go that way. I'd prefer to have the prefix "Law abiding" in front of my status as a gun owner.

On the one hand without the rule of law we have chaos. A thought that just scares the hell out of me like nothing else. But in this case I’ll be a full blown 100% hypocrite. Screw the law. CCW permits are a control issue. Bad guys pay no attention to any of the nations laws and if all the good guys do just as they are told they will be nothing more then sheep led off to slaughter.

Besides, every time I hear the words "Law abiding" I keep thinking of that scene in the Blues Brothers with the Illinois Nazi’s. Somebody has to be the one to break the law and run ‘em over.
