The 10 million dollars Michael Schiavo was offered to relinquish the guardianship of his wife is a drop in the bucket to the $$$$ that will come his way in the libel suits he is expected to pursue. Once all the public allegations that were falsely made about him are compiled and the possible assets of each litigant determined, those who can be publicly identified will be sued. Those who smeared his name in print or television are liable if they can be identified. It is time for the "Michael murdered his wife" cadre to put up or pay up. They will certainly not shut up.

It's ironic that those who hate Michael Schiavo the most will end up making him a very wealthy man.

Oh please.

Libel is very hard to prove, and methinks no jury will side with this man, who is clearly trying to profit from the death of his wife, and not for the first time.

So nice of you though to volunteer to be the one Freeper willing to defend this cad now. :)

"Those who smeared his name in print or television are liable if they can be identified."

Since there has been no recent shortage of people calling the miscreant on his behavior, he wouldn't need an extension of the statute of limitation to pursue libel. He wouldn't pursue any court action that would require him to take the stand and have his honesty challenged.

This is the same man who was kept from any interview except "softball" Larry King. And when he even screwed up on Larry King, he was kept from ALL public exposure. Here's two extracts from his Larry King interviews. In the first (2003) he refused to take a polygraph. In the second (2005) he slipped with "We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want..."

LARRY KING (October 27, 2003 ) - Michael Schiavo Interview:

CALLER: Hi Larry. I have a question for Michael... why doesn't he just take a lie detector test?

FELOS: The ultimate lie detector has gone before 20 judges who found Mr. Schiavo to be a loving, caring husband.

KING: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) you could voluntarily take one, right?

FELOS: Sure.

KING: Would you take one?

SCHIAVO: I'll refrain from that right now.

KING: OK. This ain't a court.

SCHIAVO: It's not a court.

LARRY KING (March 18, 2005) - Michael Schiavo Interview:

KING: Do you understand how they feel?

M. SCHIAVO: Yes, I do. But this is not about them, it's about Terri. And I've also said that in court. We didn't know what Terri wanted, but this is what we want...
