The "Fox News Alert(s)" that got the biggest laugh from me, were the ones where they were breaking in to cover Michael Jackson's entourage headed for the court room...
And yes, they are running a risk of desensitizing the public...

The business shows on the weekend aren't bad either.

The only shows I watch on Fox anymore is Special Report with Brit Hume, and the Beltway Boys on the weekend. Same here. Mrs ladtx and I used to watch Bill O then H&C regularly. The quality of those shows has deteriorated, they're resting on their laurels and will pay for it by a loss of audience.
Now we just tune in the Texas Rangers to see their nightly butt-whippin'.

"...it seems Fox has decided to fall into the mainstream media practice of making every man bites dog story a major news event." When a network covers Aruba 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, "man bites dog" IS a major news event!

pay no attention to the Terror Alert level.

She is quite a bit easier to take than looking at Colmes. He looks like an Aids case.

It was a rather brutal one last night.

I kid you not, one day they ran an **ALERT** that flowers were delivered to the home of the Van Der Sloots, after the father was released. They had a video of a maid receiving a flower arrangement at the front gate of the estate.
This has been a FOX News ALERT! Now back to our regularly scheduled program..................

Since when did Hannity and Colmes stop being a debate show and start being Greta-lite? I don't watch a whole lot of H&C anymore but I did tune in last night in hopes of a debate on the brewing Able Danger story but, instead, it was more Aruba and of course the obligatory Dick Morris segment about Hillary. To their credit they did have a Zell Miller segment, who has become one of my most respected Americans.

That's right.
Their weekend business shows are pretty good as well.

...and not to mention that their logo and all the scrolling graphics cover almost the entire bottom half of the screen, so much so that many times the filmed subject matter of the news alert is blocked out.
(This was especially true during the bombing of Baghdad)

6 or 7 years ago, I loved Fox News. They actually reported *news*, shockingly, instead of the worthless crap that was on CNN. That's no longer true. Fox just has their own crap now.

"The business shows on the weekend aren't bad either." Dagen McDowell is my favorite. I think it might be her cute Southern accent. Of course it could be something else.

I've been watching the business guys on weekends too lately. Just curious. Which one of those egomanics would you seek advice from in investing your money? lol...

I'll just be glad when they stop following that stupid holloway story in Aruba, grief I tired of hearing about it, and greta van sustren drives me nuts.

I guess you'll be glad to see my beloved Red Sox leave town!Texas is/was in Boston. Now it's on to NY to see if we can embarass ourselves even more. The whole Kenny R ordeal took the wind out of their sails. I suspect Buck's hold on the manager's job may be a little tenuous.

They're going to the Bronx to play the Yankees. If the Yankees lose two or more games to that team then they're in more trouble than I thought.
