Herndon Council can't escape from labor site protest

The Herndon Town Council completed the agenda at its regular meeting Tuesday, July 9, but it could not quite evade protesters bent on registering their opposition to the proposed day laborer center.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mayor Michael O'Reilly deftly moved public comment, normally one of the first items to be addressed, to the final item on the agenda. Nearly three hours later, there were still two, of a group of some 14 protesters, remaining when O'Reilly took up the final item

"moving public comment to the end of the agenda is guerrilla warfare. It's interference with free speech."

This is a very silly comment.

These pols are afraid to address the growing problem of illegal aliens, and equally terrifed of an electorate that sees the problem every day and doesn't like it.

So these "day laborer centers" are nothing more a method to hide the illegals from the public.

The view of more things to come (uncontrolled illegal immigration into the D.C. area):

Expect more shootings, more machete attacks, you name it, but illegal aliens (MS-13), and the blame can be placed at the feet of local, DO NOTHING politicians who rationalize "Hey, this isn't a federal problem in my area so I have no authority".
