This editor is an ass.
She's CODE PINK, Kerry/Edwards, PeaceRat all the way.
This Lady? doesnt want to meet the President to find out what happened to her son , she already knows. He has already met with her once and she has lied about that meeting. What she wants is an opportunity to make a bigger fool of herself and get media attention. I hope she waits at the Crawford ranch till hell freezes over. I hope the Red bugs get in her armpits and crotch and make her life a living hell.
Well, 1230AM radio in Crawford is holding a BBQ this weekend as a support the troops rally; right across from her and the CODE PINKOS on a hunger strike.
hehehehehehehehe ought to be real interesting.
I am truly sorry Cindy lost her son, but the fact is, she is a mental midget who has fallen prey to the radical left. It is truly pathetic that she is abusing her son's memory. She has stated that Casey disagreed with the war in Iraq. As far as I'm concerned, if one volunteers to serve in the military, it is with the knowledge that he/she may be called upon to REALLY serve his/her country. It is not just a free ride for an education. I will bet you anything that Casey knew and understood this. The left lives in a fantasy world; a world where everything is supposed to be perfect. There isn't one practical bone in one leftist body. No matter what they believe about this war, they have to be made to understand that our presence in the Middle East is crucial. They have to understand that jihad is not a new concept created by opposition to Bush policy. It has been the goal of Islamists since the Prophet to control the world. If the leftists want to rant and rave about U.S. imperialism, they should understand that there is no more dangerous concept than Islamic imperialism. I've had with these idiots on the left. GET REAL!
"We hope that the president will arrange to hear the soldier's mother, who he's met once before. "
Well, let's see:
296,854,777 is current estimated US Population
Get out my calculator
Census 296,854,777 People
If everybody wanted to meet the President...
*Assumptions*
12 hours a day is 720 minutes
365 days a year is 262800 minutes
Mr. Bush could meet 1,130 people a minute
or 18 people per second
and that's with no breaks, no pit stops
I'd say the poor lady already had her day in the sun.
The cowards sign 'Editor' to their hit pieces. And the bunch of wimps wonder why they can't sell their "newspapers" anymore.
"...has fallen prey to the radical left" and is on Soros' and Moveon.org's payroll as well.
(News flash, Cindy: You're just publicly embarassing yourself, hon.)
Ms Sheehan, do you know that in general when an effigy is hanged it is because the effigy represents a person that is absolutely despised by the people doing the hanging?
Why did you applaud, support, promote the Sacramento couple's full-sized effigy of a U.S. soldier being hanged by the neck?
Mr. and Mrs. Pearcy hanged by the neck an effigy of a U.S. soldier, why did you support that. Do you hate other peoples' sons and daughters?
Free speech? The couple was showing a casualty of war? Wouldn't a display more consistent with combat be better to pass their message?
No, Ms Sheehan, it was pure hatred of U.S. soldiers.
That is fantastic!
I hope they get a huge turnout and that the wind is blowing the smell of the BBQ right into the pinkos noses!
I am sorry for the loss of life...but I have NO sympathy for this woman in particular, she is degrading her sons (and all others) loss.
Yep
PRO-TROOPS /PRO-BUSH RALLY IN CRAWFORD THIS SATURDAY AT NOON (8/13/05)

A pro-troops/pro-Bush rally will be held this Saturday in Crawford, Texas by Killeen radio station KLFX 107.3 FM and sister station KWTX 1230 AM.
The rally will begin at noon and will be held at a parking lot next to the Crawford Bank. Free hamburgers and sodas will be given away until supplies are exhausted.
A spokesman for KLFX said that those who are calling this an anti-Cindy Sheehan rally are wrong. The station wanted to have an event to offer a means for the public to show their support for the troops serving at nearby Fort Hood and their commander-in-chief in contrast to the antiwar/anti-Bush protesters descending on Crawford this week.
The station says the free cookout is meant to tweak the leftist 'hunger-strikers' in Crawford, not make fun of Cindy Sheehan.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
Casey sounds like a number of soldiers I met in Iraq who disagreed with certain (or all) portions of the war. Just because they were not supportive of the war, were Democrats or didn't like Bush did not mean they were not good soldiers. For the most part they kept their opinions to themselves, did their jobs (quite well at times) and looked forward to putting the deployment in Iraq behind them.
They soldiered, not because of any political ideals or notions but simply because they were supporting the guy or gal next to them or simply because it was their job to do so. I caught a convoy with an adjacent unit one day and rode shotgun for an extremely liberal kid from California; we had an interesting but civil discussion being that I am a staunch conservative. He was all soldier though; no-nonsense, did his job without hesitation because the rest of his unit depended on him and he knew it.
I had a lot more respect for that kid than I do for armchair warriors who sit back stateside and support the war with meaningless chatter but are unwilling to themselves put action to their talk.
Or at least check the grammar. It's full of simple grammatical mistakes.
What's he supposed to say? How is he to account to her? We all grieve, but would she be standing outside of GM if her son died in an Auto accident? He chose to be in the Army. He was grown up, something this mother can't seem to understand. In war people die.
For Bush, who does care, it must be hard to be courteous to grieving mother that is hysterical. How do you politely deal with her?
