At least Keith had the sense to say, leave the politics out of it but I guess this old fart saw a chance for some easy headlines. Remember "Sweet Black Angel" ? That would sure go over like a screen door on a submarines now.

He's already mooned us...his "hide the hiney" after the fact is a joke.

"The song is from the new album, "A Bigger Bang,"
I think ol' Mick meant for the song to be "A Bigger Bong".
What a dumbass!

Nothing like trying to be relevant and "hip" in your dotage.

Plus London was bombed twice since the old jackass wrote the song, so public opinion is not in a conciliatory mood Mick. DUMBASS!!

They were my all time favorite rock and roll band. Oh, well. Time to smash some more music.

Didn't they have a farewell tour 20 years ago?
To: Chi-townChief
Maybe it does have a different meaning, I mean like, you know or something.

This will doom the Stones tour just like the Dixie Chicks anti-Bush comments doomed their tour.
To: Chi-townChief
HAH. I guess the folks at Ameriquest had a little chat with that liberal jackass.

I really liked the early Stones from back in the day, but now they're just millionaire old men jumping around and making fools of themselves, IMHO.
They have the right to write what they want, and we have the right to not buy their albums or tickets to their concerts.

why won't they just die, already?
For pete's sake, their concerts seem to consist of people my grandparents age hobblin' around, poppin their government subsidized viagra and shakin' their walkers to the beat......
it's become a friggin' parody...

I heard on the radio yesterday that the Rolling Stones just signed a big deal to do music for the NFL and Monday night football this season. This would be the place to let the powers be know what we think of them. Perhaps the NFL caught wind of this song yesterday and had a talk with their new/old rockers.

I saw it proposed elsewhere that it was a song about unrequited love for Condi Rice.

I'm sure Air Amerika will use this as bumper music until the ill gotten funding runs out.

And I'm sure the NFL is having second thoughts about promoting these wrinkled rockers in their Mon. Night Football lead-ins this season. The Red States are football states and they will not like this obvious leftist attack on the administration they voted for. The NFL needs to hear from you, if you haven't already written them: NFL, 280 Park Ave., NY, NY 10017.

The wrong Stone ended up face-down in that swimming pool, all those years ago.
