Coulter is right. Why do American liberals love to make these Jihadist savages into being such valiant men of war, princes of honor who only attack us because we're in Iraq?? To the liberal mind, the terrorist vermin are only knights in shining armor defending the honor of Islamic people everywhere, emboldened only by our liberating an Islamic people of a vile tyrannt who murdered 2 million mostly fellow Muslims? When are American liberals going to get that these people are in fact cowards who are cowed by strong action like we showed in Iraq, and emboldened by weakness, like that we showed during the 90s when Bin Laden says us retreat from Somalia and called us "paper tigers" who would be "easier to defeat than the USSR." He even reportedly told his adherents that the US would never have the guts to fight back for 9-11.
No, these snivelling little weasels aren't brave and heroic knights who are reacting only to provokation who would otherwise be content to live quiet, normal lives raising families, eaking out a living and supporting a home. These scum are people who are determined to attack us no matter what we do and if we weren't in Iraq, they'd be looking to bleed us somewhere else. The answer to that is not to run from their challenge but to confront it. It is our only hope of discouraging others from following the same course. And it is brute force that they respect and respond to, not policy concessions like any early withdrawl from Iraq.
What I cannot fathom is why do guys like John Gibson and BOR let these lefties get away with such BS. If we had never gone into Iraq and just stayed in Afghanistan, what would be the outcome. You would have terrorists coming into Afghanistan attacking us with the add benefit of Iraq and Saddam providing money, materials, and men to that cause. Why can't someone point this out!?
