Both. She has clearly said so numerous times.

"She could be anti-Semite, and I can understand suspicion that she is (and I suspect her myself, though there is little evidence). But it's more a hatred of Israel as a symbol of the West."

You're leaving out her rants about "neo-cons." Why would she bring them up if she didn't see it as a Jewish plot?

BTW, the usenet post that started this thread, and the others I have posted are from a group called Bullyard. It has only 16 members (which is weirdly low for a usenet group).

They all seem to be radical ultra-left Catholics, including ex-priests and Cindy. Here is how they describe themselves;

"Description: An eclectic group, mostly men, gathered from around the world. Many are ex priests and the discussions are mostly political and religious. On the far right there are strong Bush supporters. On the far left there are heavy Bush bashers. Not for the faint of heart. (16 members)"

http://tinyurl.com/bzgqb

It's a lie about some being Bush supporters. There are none there. They are all rabid Bush bashers.

At the end it mentions that a historical neocon would be Pres. Theodore Roosevelt and a modern one would be Ronald Reagan.

I have always been fond of Theodore.

Although I have had no illusions about him: I doubt I would have liked him very much were he and I contemporaries.

But over the span of a hundred years, I can smile at his often wrong-headed ideas.

And I can forgive his naivety, as his was a more innocent world than ours.

As for Reagan, well I was never that impressed.

It was posted by finnman69. I thought it was part of an article.

Maybe we should ask him about it.

Being blessed or cursed with a far better than average memory, I remember that the damned lefties used war widows and women whose husbands and sons were MIAs/POWs for all they were worth, back then.

Thanks for posting the corroboration. :-)

"Does Cindy want Israel out of Palestine"

She says she does. She says it is the root of terrorism.

"Or does Cindy America out of their quarrel?"

She wants US out of America. She hates us, our system of government--which she calls morally repugnant. She hates our elected leaders and calls them gangsters and criminals.

She says we've been on a 200 year killing spree since we showed up here. She wants the US to disappear.

Again, in that way she also echos her pal, OBL.

Israel isn't a JEWISH STATE, then?

It's not that "EVERYTHING" is anti-Semitic; it's that what the lefties say and what some people here post, most assuredly is anit-Semitic!

Neo-cons are not necessarily Jewish, and most do seem to value Israel highly. She could see it as a neo-con plot. ;) Which means she can accuse big business of complicity as well.

As I said, she could be anti-Semite. Or she could just be another stupid, naive, overemotional, exaggering, moral absolute relatavist, anti-action lefty moonbat. G-d knows there's no shortage of those.

And so what? Many people hate Bush. It's nothing new. I'm Canadian. Even my friends rib me for giving him any support or defense at all, and other people outright insult me from time to time.

Though I should go hassle that group. ;)

Do my answers satisfy you now?

Cindy,
There's a reason other families aren't calling you. You demean their sacrifice, just as you demean your own. We know you are hurting, it's not like it never happened to anyone else, it happened to 58,000 families during the Vietnam war. How do you suppose those families felt when people like those who council you now, told them their loss was meaningless.
You would do yourself a great justice by going to Iraq, to see for your self what your son died to create. Instead of falling for the bitter poison of the leftist agitators, immerse your grief in the company of those who knew your son and who are carrying on the work he started. Try just a little to give them the support you say they deserve, and you will be overwhelmed by the support they are willing to give you, while still carrying the burdens of their duty, and the hopes and fears of their own families.
t.

Beautiful, Tom! Absolutely beautiful! (she says with a noticeable lump in her throat).

I heard Cindy Sheehan spew her (no doubt Soros or Moore authored) leftist talking points on the Michael Smerconish show on WPHT out of Philadelphia this morning. She read what sounded like a scripted statement, stuttered a little when Smerconish attempted to ask her some reasonable questions, and then simply hung up. At which point I turned off the program in utter disgust with the leftists’ two sets of rules.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Cindy Sheehan and Nick Berg’s father are blood relatives.

Cindy Sheehan has been a traitor to America and an enemy of liberty for much longer than some would have us believe. Here’s a photo of her addressing a gathering of anti-war students at San Francisco State University earlier this year – a meeting that was called in order to honor Lynne Stewart, the terrorist lawyer known to have close connections to Omar Abdel Rahman, the butcher who was instrumental in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Among the contents of Ms. Sheehan’s borderline-seditionist, borderline-treasonous address to the assembled traitors in patriots’ clothing were the following statements:

'America has been killing people on this continent since it was started.'

'This country is not worth dying for.'

'The biggest terrorist is George W. Bush.'

'9/11 was Pearl Harbor for the neo-conservatives’ agenda.'

'The U.S. government a morally repugnant system.'

And here is a copy of the flyer that was handed out to everyone entering the room in which Sheehan delivered her address:

( reference link for the meeting: SFSU Hosts a Terrorist )

Think about it for a few minutes. Hard to allow your mind to absorb such a nightmarish vision, isn’t it? ........

An ‘American’ mother of a slain American soldier, who believed so much in the American military that he re-enlisted, is now attending, and speaking at, meetings that are recruiting Americans to support the very barbarians who slaughtered her duty-bound son.

Infinitely inconceivable to the finite mind.

I, and I believe most of the posters on this forum, are of the firm belief that our priorities must always be embraced as:

(1) God
(2) Family
(3) Country

Through her actions over the last few months, Cindy Sheehan has debased all three.

Scripture says that we are to beware of false teachers, and to stand firm against evil. Ms. Sheehan’s words in the article at the head of this thread (‘ … he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel’ being one of her countless recent recitations of leftist talking points) bears witness to the fact that she has reduced herself to serving as a willing mouthpiece for the false teachers’ propagandistic mantras … and that she would have preferred that her son also retreat in the face of evil.

He did not.

She has also betrayed her son’s devotion to duty, and his ultimate willing sacrifice, and is allowing herself to be used (1) as a pawn by those degenerate, evil madmen against whom her son laid down his very life, and (2) as a stooge by the un-American anti-war, anti-Israel left.

Her hate-filled words, and the numerous vulgar methods she has used to deliver them, are every bit as treasonous as the words uttered by, and messages produced by, the Michael Moores, Jane Fondas and Harry Belafontes of this world.

These are not the words and actions of a grief-stricken mother. They are the words and actions of a self-absorbed useful idiot who has knowingly and voluntarily thrown her support behind the violent, obsessed madmen of this world, and the American left, some of whom would prefer to see those madmen gain victories than accede to relinquishing even a portion of their own political power.

Cindy Sheehan is enjoying her fifteen minutes of fame and reveling in being fawned over by the leftist, anti-war media. Little does she realize that, once her usefulness to them has run its course, she will be abandoned to hang in the wind … a modern-day Judas.

There is no such thing as faithfulness, loyalty, or reverence for truth among the hate-America left, the vitriolic movement of which she has now proven herself to be a card-carrying member.

Her God, her son, and her country deserve better.

Both. She has clearly said so numerous times.

I'd like to see the quote, in its context, myself before I take anyone's word for it.

But that's just a formality, because I don't know very much about Cindy; I haven't been following her views in their entirety.

I would not be surprised to learn she has some ill-formed ideas--as I get the feeling she is only just begining to figure things out.

That said . .

Cindy is free to desire Israel out of Palestine, if she likes.

But that business should be no business of America's either way, if at all possible.

I disagree. Read my earlier posts to Iconoclast in this thread as to why. Since I am too lazy to respost them.

Bravo, and G-d bless you for expressing such sentiments.

Good priorities btw.

1) G-d
2) Family
3) Country

That about sums it up, eh?

By your logic,

Since Israel is composed of human beings...

...anyone who criticizes Israel is anti-human.
