Oh, geez, I didn't catch that he was a juvie.

It doesn't seem to list any exception for juvinile vs. adult convictions, however.

He's a juvie .. I could be wrong .. but I believe his record gets wiped clean when he is released

Under current USC the only way this person could legaly possess a firearm would to receive a full unconditional pardon from the Governor. There is really no such thing as defered judgement or a record being sealed these days for firearms ownership,For example Subject A is charged with criminal trespass. assume that in subject a's area this carries a term of 5 days to 1 year and 1 day. Subject A accepts a "defered adjudication" where he pleads guilty but is not sentanced untill he completes probabtion which stipulates that the charge will be dismissed at that time. well there is a good chance that subject A will not be able to legaly own a firearm
