I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm tired and try to type fast, one half of my mistakes are homonyms. Perhaps that's so for others, too. There have been charming examples all day, of which my favorite, with apologies, was "towing the liberal line." I can just picture the liberal line dangling out the back of a car or an airplane. Maybe liberals hang their laundry on their liberal line.
Correct is "toe" the line, but what fun is that? :-)
