He is attempting to get the statute of limitations set aside on a MEDICAL MALPRACTICE suit! It is not a libel suit.

It's not about that incident (Jeb's actions, the doctors saving her, etc...), as it was less than two years ago so the statute of limitations wouldn't apply.

The Governor was the named plaintiff in a declaratory judgment case in his capacity as Governor. He was not sued personally.

Michael's Next Move - He Sues Terri's Caregivers

He's decided that medical malpractice and the national spotlight are quite lucrative. All that noise and money drowns out the conscience. But you know, I don't think God is going to be the least bit impressed with Michael's national renown and ill-gotten fortunes when he finally has to give account of himself.

Suing caregivers who were mostly fired isn't going to get HINO anything unless he wants to destroy more lives and families. He is truly evil. If the judges don't deem his lawsuit to be frivolous, here we go again with the out of control judiciary in Florida.

I believe those caregivers have affidavits on file and I think since they were fired before they spoke, there was no reason they would be denied their free speech. They had no contractual agrmt with an employer at the time and he has to prove that they were not telling the truth. The Perenich law firm will just gouge him for more money and keep HINO in the headlines. I think he likes being an OJ or Robert Blake type of celebrity.

Apparently Michael enjoys doing bad things to other people. Now that he no longer has Terri to torment, he is seeking out other ways and make money as well.

bykrbayb found a statement of what John Roberts really said about congress overstepping. I'm still not buying it.

I'll wait and see what he does on the bench. The next time (there will be) a disabled person is given the Terri treatment, what he decides will reveal if he's a conservative, moderate or a left winger like most of the Supremes.

As I suspected, Roberts' statements were taken out of context. Actually, he never even said what he was accused of saying. The so-called private meeting that had no witnesses had several witnesses, including a White House aide, Senator Fred Thompson, and other senators.

For the moment, I am buying it. There were too many witnesses, all of whom claim Roberts never made those statements. Whatever his stance on Terri Schiavo, I don't believe the Slimes' smear campaign. I'll wait to find out where he really stands.
