I do not agree with the Catholic Doctrines and dogme, but that isn't what we are discussing here.
The Catholic Church is accepting of gays and thier lifestyle.. It may not be taught in the schools, but it is accepted in the church that supports it.

There is no church or school within the Catholic body which is following the Vatican's doctrine and tolerating homosexual priests, or teaching that homosexuality is tolerable. I suspect there are the ocational hereetical church or school claiming alligience to the Catholic church, but those are few and far between.
The public schools regularly use materials promoting homosexuality, and paganism. If you find that preferable go for it.

Thank you for your approval, but unfortunalty, I do disapprove, that is why my children go to a Christian School. In case you missed my post. The Church of the Ressurection is a Catholic Church that my family was a member of. We left the church once this abomination came into the parrish...
The Church of the Ressurection is affiliated with St. Pauls downtown. One is more "modern" the other "traditional". We went to the first for location convenience. When the Church authorized the separate mass, we quit.

so exactly what should we do about gays and their lifestyles?

ignore them, they are given over to a reprobate mind and they aren't going away.
This isn't a human issue to fix. Only the divine intervention of God can fix this

Hmm, and just what act is it that make one a homosexual. If you do not do the act anymore, are you still a homosexual?

Says you, when the church opened its doors to the lifestyle and allowed them to accept the eucharist while practising homosexuality, then I knew something is wrong. It is one thing to accept someone into your house as a sinner, but Gods word says repent and turn away from the wicked ways. 99% of Homosexuals do not want to change. They just want to feel accepted for what they do, not for who they are.

If you were no longer married would you still be heterosexual?
To: Artemis Webb
That is not a good analogy...
Being Heterosexual has nothing to do about being Married, As St. Paul

How is it that the 1-2% of gays out there are being forced into the homes of Americans, but the 20-25% of Americans who smoke cigarettes are being driven out of the public (and even private) venues like a herd in front of a prairie fire? What crap!
Silly, don't you know that smoking is a health hazard, we can't go around endorsing an unhealthy lifestyle now can we?
Homsexuality on the other hand is a wholesome, healthy (and need I add, DIVERSE) lifestyle that should be encouraged. There are no known diseases associated with that lifestyle, so it is the public school's obligation to push that lifestyle on the rest of us.

Does God make mistakes?
If you say, "NO", then Gods word is true.
If you say , "yes", then God Himself would be a lie.
No one is born Homosexual. It is an Abomination to God and he wouldn't create you with that sin. It would be against free will and against His own word. We are born capable to sin. But God does not make you sin.

The dispute started last spring when a book was sent home with Parker's 5-year-old son as optional reading material to be shared with his parents I'm really not sure what the issue is here. This was optional reading and the parents had a chance to review it before their kids saw the offending material.
What's his beef?

We're all also sinners. Should our status as sinners be respected and accepted? NO!

Of course not. But the Bible does not alot a point system to sin. You and I are no better or worse than gays.

Just what act is it that make one a homosexual. If you do not do the act anymore, are you still a homosexual? Are you serious? You are homosexual if you are attracted to people of the same sex, whether or not you actually have sex with someone. Likewise, the Church teaches premarital heterosexual intercourse to be sinful.

Anyone taking communion in a Catholic church is supposed to be free from mortal sin or else they are taking condemnation upon themselves.
