It should be reported as a "Gay Shame" event.

A buddy of mine is in Freiburg, Germany going to school, says the Starbucks is identical except for the prices are in Euros.

Starbuck was the flim-flam man in a play called the Rainmaker.

Not only is Starbucks sponsoring "Pride" week, but an event that places innocent children in the middle of sexually explicit materials ... and registered child molesters will be there running the show? If Starbucks is doing this knowingly, it is blatant irresponsibility

"Irresponsibility" is putting it mildly.

Yes, I started as a Starbucks coffee snob, but I am very open-minded now – if you know any good coffee houses, please let me know!

She can come over and pay me 5 bucks and I'll make her coffee. It'd be more of a "coffee apartment" and if she notices I'll charge her 7 bucks and feed her something about ambiance and the exclusiveness of the location.

I like Dairy Queens Moo-Lattes. Stupid name, but they are tasty. Was never a fan of StarBucks. Too expensive. Their products are worth, at most, half of what they charge. It doesn't matter to me that I can afford it, I don't like being ripped off on principle.

I've never been in a Starbucks. I am an at home Folgers type of person myself. Plus, I like the ambiance here.

Admittedly, I am one of those who don't

No, you are one of those who doesn't. But hey, why should a writer be able to match a subject and verb? What's that got to do with writing?

What else did you expect from a "yuppie, intellectual" atmosphere and overpriced coffee? I knew we were in trouble when people started buying small bottled water.

At one refill-your-own bottled water machine in town, I traced where the water line was hooked up, which was to the stores regular water supply. "But it's the filter system" he explained, I just laughed and left. I have filter systems at home. I guess it's the pretty pictures of the babbling brook on a hot day that sells that stuff.

About 75 Starbucks employees will march in the parade and will wear T-shirts in rainbow colors with the word "PRIDE" on the front.

Wear a tee with "SHAME ON U" printed in nice necrotic colors.

Starbucks is a terrible establishment. Sooner or later, everyone's going to wake up to the fact that standing in line for thirty minutes to purchase an eight dollar cup of java is insane.

Oh, and we should take stun guns to people who use more than six words to order their coffee.

Never too good for 'truck stop' coffee, but started looking into ordering & roasting my own green beans in an air-popcorn popper after a buddy gave me a bag of his own roasting.

Starbucks adopted homosexuals as a mascot because gay is chic now, a la 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.' Fine. Good for them. Come out with Old Dirt Road Brew for all I care. Not interested in foo-foo coffee anyway.

Adore coffee.

I mean ADORE it...but I don't like Starbucks (mebby it has to do with a date who got all freaky on the sidewalk...nevermind).

ANYHOW,
Make your own darlin', its much better.

You can e-mmail Starbucks' "Vice President of Asset Protection/Partner, Mr. Francis D'Addirio at fdaddari@starbucks.com (basically, he's their Security Manager), and let him know about your concerns.

I'd suggest you be careful with your language, and confine your discussion to the issue of children being placed in the care of known sexual offenders at a Starbucks sponsored event.

Among other things, he's responsible for ensuring that Starbucks doesn't do things that place it in a liable position.

So what. The owner of Starbucks is also a big supporter of Israel, at a time when it is under assault by the world. I will keep buying Green Tea Frappachinos, etc. :)
