Google started this news agency business in order to rank searches in terms of a nebulous "credibility weighting" in addition to just finding the search word or string.
Google has long been known to favor liberals. The purpose of this news agency thing was to flood the searches done on hot political topics with MSM-based content. I don't think FoxNews is considered a news agency for Google. I baguely remember there being a big stink about all this a few months ago. I'll see if I can turn up some more background info.
