Google IS as Google does.
Personally, I don't waste my time there.

Google's really beginning to suck anyhow. Have to wade through more and more "Buy me" hits everyday.
Dogpile doesn't work for me.
How's AltaVista nowadays?

"of" was a good keyword too. I often search using that keyword.

Your article simply doesn't make my blood boil. If I strike the words "PSM" and "ISM" and substitute "Reuters" and the "New York Times," I get just as annoyed at Google. Do we really care what Google does? What do these outfits gain by having "news agenct status?"

An anonymous source? Anyway, what exactly is a "news agency status" and would it actually put ISM "on par with professional news services"? Google already gathers stories from more than 4,500 sources and it seems to me this would just put the figure to 4,501 and the bigger news services would still be prioritized. Also, quote:
Google News is a highly unusual news service in that our results are compiled solely by computer algorithms, without human intervention. As a result, news sources are selected without regard to political viewpoint or ideology, enabling you to see how different news organizations are reporting the same story. This variety of perspectives and approaches is unique among online news sites, and we consider it essential in helping you stay informed about the issues that matter most to you.
