Denver police say a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force has admitted to vandalizing cars bearing pro-President Bush bumper stickers at Denver International Airport. If convicted, it is conduct unbecoming an officer. Loss of pension. Dishonorable discharge.
Hope the idiot thinks it was worth it.

When I was in the AF years ago, full restition for property damage was the norm, even bar fights off duty. Is this still in force?

He deserves to be punished for his actions! We sure don't need people with a criminal mentality representing the United States military. Obviously, he does not respect the rights of others to support a candidate other than who he supports. I hope they throw his sorry rear end in the brig along with a dishonorable discharge and loss of pension !

At least loss of clearance and loss of his director job; they can't not reassign him with this nonsense going on. Career-ending for sure; no more position of trust. It might indeed result in administrative discharge (by reason of civil conviction) and loss of pension. Conduct unbecoming charges and a GCM conviction with jail time would be welcome but not totally necessary for me.

This is soooo vague, but there is a line in the movie "Pulp Fiction", where the John Travalta character is talking about somebody who keyed his car and he wished he could have caught the.....maternal fornicator. I would share his sentiment in this instance.,

Hope he does time for the felony charge. A least that way he may learn to play nice with others, or a least with his new prison friends. ; )
