Also, a suggestion/request : Could you make more catagories for the Bloggers forum? Right now, there's really no good 'Topics' catagory for Blogs about the War or the middle east, etc.

IMHO, you left out a very important point:
Do not unnecessarily excerpt an article! When I post an article I assume it will not have to be excerpted. Then I depend on the posting software to tell me, based on the URL I supply, if the article needs to be excerpted.
Nonexcerpted articles can be very important for historical and research purposes because most news sites do not leave articles available indefinitely.
