But that's exactly what we are talking about. People who can not abstain from sex for a week without falling prey to serious temptation. If that is not a mentality of "instant gratification" (I want it and I want it NOW!), and if this is not a bad attitude to foster, then I don't know what is.

It means trying to have physical pleasure from marital acts while at the same time closing (or attempting to close) off the act from God's gift of creation of new life.

Our bodies are not our own to do with as we please. If my wife is in the mood, I'll respond. I don't want to have to sit around with a calender or a thermometer trying to figure out if it's "OK" or not.

Honestly? Yes I am. The more danger involved for singles, the less likely more of them will engage in dangerous behavior.
