Look for Cheney to retire in '06, opening the door for Condi to become VP. From that perch, she is better positioned for a Presidential run.
Put it this way; if the GOP ticket consists of 2 milquetoast whalepants weareres, you can say hello to the next president Clinton.

Oh, by the way, the shrill and hateful rhetoric from the Voting Rights rhetoric of last Saturday almost BEG for a Condi run. The mere sight of Shiela Jackson Lee and Harry Belafonte blowing a gasket at the prospect of a President Condi would be worth the price of admission, plus popcorn.

I don't think Cheney will retire. He just got a pretty clean bill of health from the doctor. I think he will stay on. Condi is doing very well in her postion right now and I don't think she would want the VP postion.
