This is probably a dumb question, but why doesn't Jim allow advertisers? I would imagine that the immediate guess is that the participants in this site would like it to remain ad-free, however I think it would be useful, especially if Jim were picky about the products and companies he did business with?

I'd much rather see him have advertiser money. Thoughts?
