I think you should talk to Barnie Frank about this matter. He would probably refer you to John f'n Kerry or Teddy boy. Actually you are probably no worse off than the rest of us. Just Kidding!

How about San Francisco, or Portland? I hear all the families with children are leaving those cities already.

"Taken the freedom from the kids and given it to the sex offender"

This is why a sex offender such as this should be sentenced to death. This way they cannot do it again. By the way, he will do it again.

Two to the chest one in the head.

Yes, but everyone is on "the" list. Date rape, pee on tree. There needs to be better "lists". I don't care if I live next to someone on the list, if he is there for a non-violent sex act. (Date Rape for one)

Are you perhaps thinking of statutory rape? What really burns me is all the guys who get falsely accused by ex wives wanting revenge, and the same with ex gf's. Can you imagine that there are women out there (google Bridget Marks), who will coach their precious children to lie about their father? Go on any father's rights boards, and read the stories. If you have no money, or fight until you run out of money, you might be lucky being forever branded as a low risk offender. That and your pic and address will be visible to anyone. Now, what about the ones that are dangerous, and disappear? They don't check in like the average sucker, and you finally find them when a child has been raped and murdered. Fat lot of good a Megan's Law does in that case. I don't think dangerous predators should be let out of prison, otoh from what I've been seeing, a lot of innocent people are sitting in jail.

Back in the days when I used to hang around with hockey players, there were plenty of "date rape" scenes in which the players would get together against the girl, if she tried to report what happened, and they'd all swear that she had been with all of them -- which was not true; there were even cases when a girl turned up pregnant and was trashed by the player and his attorney using false testimony from other players. (I was fortunate enough to have a player take an interest in me who warned me away from the ones who were dangerous.)

There are liars on both sides of the fence, and the more prominent and/or better looking the accused is, the less likely the victim is to be believed.

Who would ever trust a proven pedophile again? The severest punishments the lawmakers could put into effect are life in prison, with no chance for parole, or execution. For those who get uncomfortable when they hear "death penalty", I would think the scums made their own choice when they perpetrated their heinous crime. The down side of the death penalty is that the POS could figure he may as well kill his victim, the penalty being the same.

That we have murderers on death row for years and years, with rights of appeal after appeal, hardly makes the death sentence a deterrent. If pedophiles got the same sentence, same thing will happen.

So to my "fantasy" solution: Hand these perps over to the fathers, uncles, nephews and friends and neighbors of the victim for 5-8 minutes and let them show him what they think of what he did. Let future murderers and pedophiles see what's in store for them.

But then, it's just a fantasy. Ours is a civilized country, for most of us anyway, and the uncivilized have the same rights as the rest of us.

These pervs are just going to do it again and again and again. I don't know what makes anyone (ACLU, libs) think when they have done their time they have "fulfilled" their debt to society. Their actions have taken childhood innocence away and leave lifelong psychological scars.

Like the old man who raped an older girl then cut off her arms out in California years ago. How could they have ever let that guy out?

But I would like also to see the justice system and our society treat female pedophiles with the same disdain and punishment as men. Why aren't their considered just as heinous?

Just like daughters, I would not want to see anyone's son have sex at 11, 12, 13 or 15. My brother has said that Congress shouldn't regulate morality. But why can't sexual activity be a law - you don't want kids smoking until 18, people can't drink until age 21.

But kids are allowed to have sex and make babies at any age.

Whoa, I guess I went wayyyy past the topic at hand.

I agree with you about the necessary criminalization of female pedophilia -- but the thing that is going to have to happen before that is done, is the end of the smirking belief by grown men that all boys dream of being seduced by "hotties" at every age, and that a boy ought to brag about being done by his teacher or the attractive woman next door.

Until grown men object to this image of what is Manly and characterize it in the same way as they do an attractive older man seducing a teenaged girl, nothing will change.

The majority of the sickos are men. They're the ones who prey on little kids. An adult woman who engages in an intimate relationship with a minor has earned herself a number of years behind bars, same as the men.

The vermin who prey on little kids often murder them.

What kind of sexual offender should never, ever be let out of prison again? Certain ones? Every one of them? It's a tough call.

Do I understand you correctly? Some grown men give a wink and a nod to a "Mrs. Robinson and Benjamin" tryst?

If my husband embraced that view, he'd wish he never told me. He would definitely be persuaded to see the error of his "thinking".

I'll have to run this past the males I know. Get back to you.

Do you remember that day care episodes in the 1980s?
Several innocent people were hunted down like modern day witches because of the hyperbole of the parents.
Children don't lie, but they are intuitive and they pick up on non-verbal communication by adults.
Too many people are too lazy to see through the issue - it's much easier to paint good and evil with a broad brush, but it's flat out wrong.

There are a heck of a lot of movies on this theme, and nearly all of them portray child molestation by women of young boys (ages 14 and up) as the ultimate fantasy, particularly if said Hottie is their teacher. There are even commercials that promote this idea -- a current Quiznos Subs commercial shows a highly sophisticated male TODDLER being escorted through Italy in a motorycle sidecar driven by a Hottie!
