Native Hawaiians are an established ethnic group based on ancestry, not skin color. Other native Americans have organizations that relate to their history and values, why are the Hawaiians not allowed to do the same. This case could very well push support for a separate Hawaiian nation over the top. Perhaps that's the only way they can preserve what's left of their culture. And, yes, I agree, it's exactly the same as the case with they Boy Scouts.
