I've always been amused how the least democratic countries name themselves.
Peoples' Republic of China......
German Democratic Republic(East Germany)...
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)...
Republic of Cuba.
Anytime left-wingers desecrate words like freedom and democratic it turns my stomach!!
William F. Buckley (IIRC) wrote a piece once about how Communists choose country names that bear absolutely NO resemblance to reality. They are NOT accountable to the People. They aren't close to being Democratic. They aren't republics. The 'rats don't need Lackoff (rhymes with). They just need Lenin and his new anti-American "friends."
