What makes the KFC campaign unique is that the chicken chain has refused to submit to PETA's demands

GOOD FOR KFC!!!!

>>> continually subjected to the circuslike atmosphere of PETA protests at its restaurants.

That is just dinner and a show.

I am confused. What the heck is a PETA intern.

Yeah, that puzzled me, too--I pictured Monica Lewinsky in a chicken costume.

Apparently, PETA's definition of "intern" is a college kid with way too much time on his hands.

At least the chickens were killed for a reason - to provide food. The pets were killed for nothing.

GOOD FOR KFC!!!! That's what I say! I think I'll go buy a bucket of extra crispy today just to show my support :)

If McDonald's hadn't caved in the '90s, PETA would've disappeared years ago.

Mueller looked on, gnawing on a piece of chicken.

Mueller would make a good FReeper.

"If we aren't supposed to eat meat, then why was it made to be so tasty?"

..and if we weren't supposed to eat chicken, why is it made primarily of meat?

I'l be dining at the Colonel's local establishment this evening, I think!

...when Goldsmith showed his video to three KFC customers, they groaned and grimaced during the graphic parts.

Wish I'd been there. I grew up in both the city and the country. I KNOW where hamburger, bacon, and fried chicken come from. People shouldn't be so weak-kneed.

"That bird is having its thigh sliced open while fully conscious," Goldsmith said, narrating a grisly video as KFC customer Tiffany Mueller looked on, gnawing on a piece of chicken.

"It all tastes the same to me," Mueller said.

the founder of the animal rights movement, Peter Singer

Do a search on Ingrid Newkirk sometime. Another example of the PETA moonbat mentality. In a healthier day and age, these people would have been locked up in a room with mattresses for wallpaper.

... driving a truck with giant screens of slaughterhouse video back and forth along the street. ...

It's okay for PETA to do this but when the pro-life people do the same with slaughtered babies on the sides of trucks, it's not okay.

What's wrong with this picture? (not pun intended)

"That bird is having its thigh sliced open while fully conscious," ...

right. And KFC filmed themselves while cutting open the thigh of a live chicken.

Sure, I believe it...
