LA Times report here:
Reports: Russian Mini-sub Has Surfaced After Being Trapped For Nearly Three Days
*********************************************
Excerpt
*******************************************
From Associated Press
PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Russia -- A Russian mini-submarine that was trapped for nearly three days under the Pacific Ocean surfaced Sunday after a British remote-controlled vehicle cut away the undersea cables that had snarled it, news agencies reported.
The AS-28 made an emergency surfacing and appeared on the water at around 4:26 p.m. local time, ITAR-Tass and RIA-Novosti reported.
A British remote-controlled vehicle on Sunday cut away the cables that had snarled a Russian mini-submarine and its seven-man crew deep under the Pacific Ocean, and rescuers were preparing for the sub to surface, a naval spokesman said.
Capt. Igor Dygalo told The Associated Press that the Super Scorpio had freed the mini-sub from the military antenna that had tangled it some 625 feet below the surface.

Who else the U.S. as usual Wrong.
At last report, the two U.S. Scorpios were still on the way to the scene. It was a UK Scorpio that did the rescue.

Brit ROV cut the tangle of wire holding them down, Russian ship winched 'em up. Good news all-round and the Russians save a bit of face by doing the heavy lifting.
I take it the Amrican Navy was still unloading when the Brits got things cut loose, so as to spaek. I'll have to wait for a better set of releases for a good timeline.
Pepsi break for me.

Who else the U.S. as usual It was the Brits and The Americans. The Brits got their unmanned sub there first and some Americans went out there with them.

Hopefully the Brits got "tangled" in the remote antenna and will have to take it home to get it untangled (ahem)

Okay, Okay.
Can I have some Whine with my crow?
But I have a question, if the Brits and the Russians are there then why are they being examined/treated by a U.S. doctor?

and the MSM will emphasis the USA was "late" instead of the good news.
To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
Some Americans were with the British team. However, the two Super Scorpios never made it. They were still on a ship heading that way.

US Divers, Brit remote sub. I don't know who transported the sub. Could have been either a US or Brit.
