No. There were three US divers who assisted the bot, but all the controllers of the bot were Scottish/UK--they were civilian operators. These bots are mainly used in commercial projects, like the oil industry. There was also one American doctor besides the three American divers.
There must be a good reason why submarines don't store liquid air (argon/oxygen), and maybe I'm just forgetting some college physics from ages ago that explains why, but I can't figure out why. I know that some types of newer diesel electric submarines use an AIP system that store LOX onboard, but I never figured out why air reserves were not supplemented by onboard LOX that could be vented into the ballast tanks when needed. If I had to guess, I would guess that on a nuke, getting more air is not typically the problem, pressurizing it and putting it into the ballast tank is usually the problem during accidents, so while storing LOX is feasible, it provides no benefit on nukes.

But do you know that our forces have in Camchatka (Beryozovaya bay) mines with missiles inside? Moreover, there is a lot of the navybases on the seaside of Far-East (russian region near the Pacific ocean). Guess the enemy of Putin? That's US, of course.

As one of the kremlin TV-channels say, "The enemy is nearby! The citizen of Russia must be prepared to war..." (that doesn't seem lke a joke). By "enemy" they mean growing NATO, Japan and USA.
And at the same time we turn to "our best eastern friend" - China. Such alliance (RF-China) worries me...
One of the factors that helped, besides Putin's quick call for help, was that the international submarine rescue war games had just been completed last month.
