The P.C. on this forum shocks me.
Look, I don't hate Peter Jennings and I'm sorry to see him or anyone else die in this manner.
But, GIMMEE a break. I can sit here and name 1,000 celebrities who've done more for me and more for my country than PJ. But he was one of the media elite, he followed the party line, he was not creative or original in any way, and he gets absolutely deified. To me this is an example of self-serving, self promoting media at its worst

I am at a loss as to how you can perceive anything I said about Jennings as "deifying" him. I was merely suggesting that to attack his political views or personal nature uncalled for and reflected very negatively on those who said such things and conservatives by extension.

You said almost the same thing I did, you said it better, said it quicker, and said it in fewer words.
I salute you.

I agree!Am I cold hearted???He chose his path did he not?He was a pro abortion pro homosexuality democrat. He was not a journalist. He could not separate his own personal beliefs from the news he was reporting on.He deionized my heroes,my Christian heroes.Brokaw and Rather are losers also. All three are losers, they where not journalists as I understand the term. They where all dishonest, biased reporters.IM SORRY HE DIED.GOD BLESS PETER JENNINGS.He was on the wrong side of all the issues,he lead people astray with his bias dishonest news reporting.I AM VERY OPEN TO BEING CORRECTED.
